Schroders' Maximiser Funds
A tested stockmarket based investment strategy targeting a 5 or 7%* annual yield
Schroders’ Maximiser strategy focuses on delivering a sustainable high level of income from a stock-market based investment.
Employing the skills of Schroders’ highly experienced Structured Investment Team and specialist equity investment teams, the Maximiser strategy has stood the test of time, delivering attractive income returns through different market environments since 2005.
Which Maximiser fund could be suitable for you?
SCHRODER INCOME MAXIMISER – 7% p.a. Income Yield
This fund invests in a carefully selected portfolio of UK company shares, targeting a 7% p.a. income yield.
Schroder Income Maximiser revolutionised the previously staid UK equity income sector on its launch in 2005. The 7% yield target far exceeded the income available from conventional UK equity funds, and through the covered call strategy the fund has consistently met this target.
Performance can also be volatile for an income product. The fund is best suited to flat or gently rising markets – returns may be held back during sharp market rises as covered call stocks meet their target prices and are effectively sold away.
SHRODER ASIAN INCOME MAXIMISER – 7% p.a. Income Yield
This fund provides exposure to stockmarkets in some of the world’s most dynamic economies, from across the Asia Pacific region.
The fund aims to provide capital growth and income over the long term by investing in equities of Asia Pacific Cos excluding Japan but including Australia and New Zealand which offer dividend payments. For investors seeking income, Asia has the potential to provide the highest yields globally and acts as an important diversifier away from UK income. Offers entry into a young and dynamic market that is attractively priced and without the debt problems which have plagued the US and Europe.
SCHRODER US EQUITY INCOME MAXIMISER – 5% p.a. Income Yield
The fund aims to deliver a 5% income per year, paid quarterly, by investing in equity and equity related securities within the US.
Aiming for income and growth. The fund aims to provide regular income, whilst also giving you access to some of the US’s biggest Cos. It has been notoriously hard for fund managers to achieve two things investing in the US large cap market: 1.Outperform the market 2.Receive a decent dividend income yield. By replicating the holdings of the market instead of trying to outperform it, the fund can focus on aiming to pay a much higher yield of 5%. This also enables Schroder to charge much lower fees than other US equity income funds offering a much better value solution for investing in the US market. We recommend you invest in this fund for at least 3 years.
