Transfer Without Selling
Transferring of assets via re-registration moves your investments from one provider to another without selling them in the process. You can do this for assets held in an ISA or outside of the tax wrapper as an investment fund.
Less Admin and Paperwork
If you hold a number of investments with different fund managers, the administration and paper work burden can be considerable. Re-registration is an easy way to consolidate your investments under the umbrella of just one Platform administrator. You can also move from one Platform to another.
Benefits of Re-registering your ISAs and Investment Funds
- All of your investments in one place
- Easy to Re-register
- Single Valuation Statement for all your investments
- Only one password to remember
- No Charge
- Less paperwork
How do I go about Re-registering my funds?
You will need to complete a Re-registration application form and return it to Seymour Sinclair (see below).
For Re-Registration of Assets we expect the process to take between 4-6 weeks. As this is purely an administration change, you will not be out of the market at anytime, whilst platforms and providers exchange data to amend their records. When re- registration of your Funds is confirmed you will then be issued a contract note.
You will need to know:
- The Investment Company and funds you want to re-register
- Your platform or investment company account number

Your Capital is at Risk
Seymour Sinclair Investments Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and offers an execution-only service. Past performance is not a reliable guide to future returns. Market and exchange-rate movements may cause the value of investments to go down as well as up. Yields will fluctuate and so income from investments is variable and not guaranteed. You may not get back the amount originally invested. Tax treatment depends of your individual circumstances and may be subject to change in the future. If you are unsure about the suitability of any investment you should seek professional advice. Whilst Seymour Sinclair provide product information, guidance and fund research we cannot recommend which of these products or funds, if any, are suitable for your particular circumstances and must leave that judgement to you. Before investing you must read the Seymour Sinclair and Platforms Terms and Conditions and it is important that you read the specific risk factors on the Key Investor Information Documents for the funds which you are considering investing in.
For non-platform business, where we can still give discounts, those discounts are subject to receipt of commission and may be subject to change if commission levels are altered.
