Premier Global Optimum Income Fund
Premier Asset Management have launched a new optial income fund targeting a 6% yield. The fund will be co-managed by Jake Robbins and Geoff Kirk.
Product Details at a glance:
- Target yield 6% p.a.
- Aims to produce an income, paid four times a year, in the form of dividends
- Invests in a global portfolio
- Actively managed fund investing across a range of industries and sectors
- An active option strategy is used to enhance the income paid out
- Co-managed by an experienced global equity fund manager and specialist manager of covered call option strategies
The aim of the fund is to provide income together with the prospect of long term capital growth from an actively managed global portfolio of equities and an associated derivatives strategy. The fund has a target yield of 6% per annum, which is not guaranteed and may be subject to change as the assumptions on which the target was calculated may change.
Premier says this new fund combines the firm’s “strong track record” in global equities with its capability to enhance income through covered call options.
Robbins will be responsible for the active stock selection on the global fund, with Kirk overseeing the covered call options.
The equity part of this fund will mirror Premier’s Alpha Growth, which Robbins has managed since the end of 2011.
